when do you know when to start potty training?

recently ive noticed some of logans new habits (if he can-taking his nappy of after he pees and putting it in the bin he gets fustrated when hes done a poo where as before he didnt really take any noticed if hed filled his nappy or not, when hes in the bath or shower or running around with no nappy on he stop grab his bits then watch himself go)do you think hes ready to start potty training?
i dont expect him to just do it specially as hes young but i was thinking maybe these are signs that hes ready to be introduced to the potty.

It wouldnt do any harm to get a potty and see what he does.

Mine have always been late on a potty but to honest ive left it until they were showing signs.

Give it a go and good luck xx

Try him, sounds like he is starting. It can be v frustrating at times, but he will get used to it and do it in his own time. I tried forever to get my son to use the potty then one day, a month before his 3rd birthday, he just said "no more nappies" and has been dry ever since. xxx

I would have the potty available and make it fun but not push it at his age. Familiarity with the potty can't hurt in a few months when you get serious about training.
