Since he's been to the nursery....

it takes me a lot longer than usual to put him to sleep or nap...
They said he's very good at the nursery, goes to sleep at 9:30am every day for 1:30 - 2 hours and 1 hour in the afternoon as well. At home he sleeps maybe an hour or 1:30 hours for the whole day.

At night it takes me 1_30 - 2 hours to put him to sleep. He won't stay in the cot, or on the bed, or if i sit with him on the floor, or if i hold him or put him down. He wants nothing. this's driving me mad...

Why is he acting different from the nursery ? everything else seems ok..playing ..

well, he eats a lot more there than at home

maybe he's still adjusting to the change? Missing you more and wanting to spend more time with you?

Hi I find parents ask this alot at my pre-school. At pre-school they are on the go all day, chasing around their friends, different evironments where there is new things all the time, children often get far more tired at nursery than home. Also (not sure if this is applicable as I don't know your son's age) its common for children to drop one sleep during the day when there at home, however they often keep having this sleep at nursery for a while after. Its crtainly nothing to be concerned about
