Ella now has a rash?

I know this should be in the health section but ususally get a faster response in here.

Ella was very ill a few days ago , high temp , cough was told she had swine flu but she is getting better and seems to be okish now so it wouldnt of been it.

However yesterday i noticed alittle rash on her tum , little red pin pricks. And now i have just looked and its spread everywhere , arms leg and covering her fingers.

Done the tumbler test and they have dissappeared. She seems well in herself , getting much better then before.

Would this be a viral rash? Since she has been ill its coming out of her system in a rash? I had this with Carly but i just panic so need to have my mind put to rest

It wouldnt be meningitis? Surely she would get worse??

Don't think it would be meningitis if it disappears. Not sure what it could be though, sorry But very possibly viral rash if she's been ill and now getting better. Is it a bit like this? http://www.goodtoknow.co.uk/health/140243/Viral-rash

Same thing happened to Dec, he was very unwell, I was told suspected Swine flu then he got a little rash all over his body, boy did I panic. I ran to the doctors with him (only 2 streets away) to be tols it is completely normal for a rash to develope in the last few days of a viral infection. I assume she has had a viral infection and this may well be the end of it. xxx

Charlie had meningitis at 3 months old so i know alot about it but i allways think you can never be too carefull its natural to worry, i also done the skin test and it dissapeared at first there was only 1 spot on his leg that didnt and they only noticed that just before the hospital was going to send us home, but when they have meningitis they are ill and get worse very quickly , if shes ok in herself it may be a viral rash sounds like it is to me, just check everywhere for any spots that look like a dark pin prick that wont dissapear xxxx

My boys have had roseola before where they get a very high temp for a few days then the fever goes away and a rash shows up...it looks like this.

But it's nothing serious it goes away pretty quickly too.

No problem They are "supposed" to have a fever for a few days before, then the fever breaks and they have the rash, other than being a bit irritable they fever should pretty much be gone by the time the rash shows up so you should be about through if it's that
