Potty Training Time - what do I need?

DD is 22 months old. She's starting to show all the signs of being ready to be potty trained.

She's hiding in a corner to do a poo
She's telling me she needs a wee and has hit the potty once - she is also, however, missing the potty still so I know it won't be done overnight.

Is this the right signs?
If so, what do I need?

She broke her potty so I'm starting from scratch again really. lol. Been looking on ebay at those potty's that you sit on like a chair and also noticed alot of potty training (terry) pants - are they worth it?

What are your thoughts on ebay potty items? Is there anything I missed? LOL

It def won't hurt to try

I'd just get a basic potty...Hayden actually did much better when we went to the regular potty, he is very small but still just sits on it normally, no insert. We do use some cloth trainers (made from people that make cloth diapers, not sure if it's the same ones you saw) and I love them because he feels wet, he knows he had an accident but it's not on my floor which is great lol

Nope not at all....I think I would make sure I'm buying new from Ebay for those things, or someone would really good feedback if you find a used potty just so you know you're getting something in good condition not really unsanitary you know?

That's cute! I like that it's just very basic, none of the lights and sounds like some of them that just end up turning into toys lol

We started Dec at 21 months and by the time he turned 22 months he was fully day trained. We just bought a basic potty £1.99 in Ikea and tons and tons of underware. For the first week or 2 we left the potty within sight for him but by week 3 he was going to the normal toilet. It does seem like she is ready to train and my only advice is let her take the lead, it is so much easier thats what we done with Dec and now at 24 months he is fully day and night trained Good luck. xx

Forgot to say you can get a 10 pack of underware in Primark for £2.50 great for early potty training, they are so cheap you dont mind if you have to bin a few pairs

It's not so much the binning the knickers its that DP cant cope with her weeing on the carpet which is why I wondered about those terry ones.
I'm alright with it cos it'll clean but its one of his MANY peeves! LOL
