I'm alright with it cos it'll clean but its one of his MANY peeves! LOL
The terry ones sound good, I personally have never seen them but I have heard a few girls on here talk about them and it has been all good

Might have a look then as I want her to be aware that she's made a mess but not leave a mess on the carpet LOL

Rayan is 22 months and let's me know now when his nappie is full. Very handy for me to change him, but when it comes to his potty he is not doing anything. Sure he will sit on it and makes psst sounds as if peeing, but then he just gets up, moves his potty to another part of the room and does exactly the same thing, but nothing as yet into the potty. But we keep trying as he is obviously interested!

Aaliyah does that too. I thought that was another sign - she also gets dollies to weewee (and the dog) in the potty

Well I bought her a bright pink potty and some boring knickers (decided to tell DP to sod off if he winges about weewees! LOL)
I gave her an hour with no nappy on before and although we've had little tiny accidents where she didn't quite get to the potty on time. She weeweed in potty!!! WOOHOO

Another weewee in the potty today!!

Quick question though - when she misses the potty I've been automatically taking the wet knickers off, should I leave them on for 5/10 mins to allow her to understand?

Well done clever girl I would let her stay in them for a few mins just to get used to the feel of being wet, most kids that are ready for training dont like being wet so she will quickly learn that its not nice and should make it to the potty more often. Sounds like she is doing really well already

She hasn't said anything about the knickers being wet but did notice that the bottom of her vest was wet and demanded it taken off - she's running around naked before bed now! lol

Charlie is fully potty trained and has been for 4-5 months. It took around 2-3weeks of sticking it out. I just got a £2 potty from ikea and left in the living room at first, then after a week put in the toilet but within a few extra days he was using the toilet and is now using a slep to stand up and pee like daddy does

I didn't buy ay waterproof just loadz of cheap underwear and jogging pants from primark. I did buy a fisherprice learn and play potty but he just played with it and was just as happy on his plain potty so they are not necessary.

Good luck, it's not as bad as you first think
