First words - not good!!!!! lol

Hi all

Well Gabbi has been saying baba for sometime time now, which in Bulgarian means Grandma. She has also said kaka which is a nickname for big sis. She has said mama a couple of times and only when whingeing, but only said dada once!!

Now, she has said gu gir which means good girl and she has said something that sounded like Gabbi!!

But, now I have a problem. I think because she has had no problem with her G's and B's, we now have a new word ........................... bugga!!!!!! She says it over and over again, bugga bugga bugga bugga, then this afternoon, she said gubba gubba gubba, laughed and went back to bugga!!!! Now in Bulgaria it doesn't mean anything but when we have our week in the UK next week, ooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the looks I am gonna get!!!

I think as long as she doesn't changed the letters to F and K I think we'll be ok!!! lol

Has your little one come out with first words which are a tad embarrassing???

my little brother was awful with his mouth when he learned to talk- i have 6 younger brothers and sisters so if anyone said anything he would repeat it but if he said a swear word the kids would all laugh so then ofcourse he would think its funny and keep saying it. I think the best thing to do if they say a naughty word is to just ignore it- any fuss made about it they are goingto enjoy saying it even more! (although it may be hard to refrain from having a giggle or anything at times)

Well not her first word. But Harley's favorite word, and probably the only one I really hear on a daily basis. "Duck" I get teased something awful about it. Its very cute, but when your trying to show off your baby and all their willing to say is "duck" it definitely brings about some laughs

Oscar was screaming and crying in front of his childminder, who he never crys for, when I was trying to strap him into his carseat. I had to take this old car he had picked up from him to get his arms through. We had the works, tears, arching of the back, screaming, took me ages to strap him in. When I had done and gave him his car back he isntantly stopped and said "There you are"
We fell about

but his new word is damn, I have no idea where he got it from
