Time to potty train?

Surely its not, she's only 15 months, but shes started crouching down to poo, if she needs a wee in the bath she always stands up ad watches it, she has started getting the changing mat out, finding a clean nappy and lying on the mat, and every time she des indeed have a wet nappy.

What are your thoughts? Am I seeing something thats not there or do I really need to start thinking about it

I think those are the beginning signs and Hannah has shown some of them herself but I don't think she's quite ready yet. I made a thread a while back about it actually and there were several other signs that I don't see yet. One which was having an understanding of what she's doing and being able to tell me before she needs to go. (I can't remember all the others at this moment )

thanks, I guess she is starting to understand when she has been, and even when she is going, but not when she needs to!

I dont want to potty train her- its too grown up, she'll still be in nappies on her 18th!!

Arr what a cutie she is!!
I would say if she's showing the signs, why not try her out with the potty. Maybe she is feeling uncomfortable with the nappy, hence the lying down on changing mat, what a clever girl!!

get a potty sitting around the house so she gets used to it then maybe just try her.

I'd say get a potty and leave it around, tell her what its for, my LO's showing signs but i think its too early yet, going to wait a few months before i get her a potty.
