getting toddler to have medicen?!

Sorry cant spell today lol

My lil girl is 21mths, shes had a cut on her finger, no idea how it got there! but its became major infected. Weve been doctors and shes gave us some antibiotics, BUT how the hell do we give them to her?! she refuses to have them, screams and gags on it then spits it out! iv tryed bribing her EVERYTHING advice would be great as i dont want her ending up having to have IV antibiotics!

are they tablets ? i know some antibiotics can be in liquid form, maybe worth asking your dr if a liquid is possible ?
if it is already a liquid maybe check if you can put it in a drink or something ?
just realised your lo's birthday is the day after my sons

yeah its liquid form, il see if i can lol iv just had to pin her down to give it her!Aww, we celebrate her bday on the 28th lol she wanted a special bday lol i did try and push her out in time but didnt work!

I use a syringe when giving her medicine, its bascially a matter of holding her down and making sure she swallows it before i let her back up! horrible to do but better to have a couple of minutes of crying then them feeling poorly.
