What to feed a baby that has been very sick all night

Daisy was sick almost every hour last night, I have no idea where it was all coming from!

It was very scary, she just about choked on it when she was sick the first time in her cot, thankfully I woke and heard her . After that I was scared to sleep, Daisy finally dropped off at about 4:30am for a while.

She seems quite happy in herself and hasnt been sick this morning but I think thats because her tummy is empty.
I have been offering her water on the advice from NHS24 but she spits it out.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can offer her to eat now? I have tried toast, melon, cheerios with no milk.

She wont try anything

My LO had this vomiting bug about a month or so ago, i just gave her 1 or 2 oz at a time of milk so at least she wasn't starving and she kept this down, once she hadn't been sick for 5 or 6 hours i tried her on toast and sandwiches and just let her eat as much as she wanted. it only lasted 24 hours.

Marley had a stomach bug last week. I was told not to give any dairy because it tends to be too heavy on their tummies when ill. I just gave her water until she had not vomitted for 8 hours and then started giving her toast and bananas. By the next day she was back to normal.

As long as shes still drinking fluids thats the main thing. It wont do her any harm to have no food. If she will drink water/milk/juice. She will start eating again when she feels ready.

How old is Daisy?
When Jack had his sickness bug a while back I just kept him supplied with Ice lollies, They kept his fluids up and his temp down.
Don't worry about her not eating for a day or 2 she will do when she feels better xx

That's weird coz a night before Lincoln was sick 6 times and I gave him warm milk, chicken + green gourd soup (he always takes green gourd soup when he's sick or has a cold and running nose, he wouldn't take anything cold at all..but opposite when he's well )
oh ! also he takes raisin and dried fruits..He doesn't eat as much but not too bad
Hope she's better soon

She is 13 Months, good idea! She is napping now but if she doesnt take any drinks when she wakes up I will try her with that.

Just phoned the docs again and they said to give her till 4pm and if she still wont drink to go in and get some fluid replacement powders..... but if she wont drink how do you get them into them?!
