what was your toddler doing at 14 months old?

ive been looking at milstones for toddlers on the web and not sure if they are right as Joshua seems to be doing most of the stuff an 18 month old should be doing.

thank you huni.
joshua is kicking a ball and most of the stuff your little man was doing at that age.
apart from Joshua weighs 26lbs

i read that at 14 months they maybe able to stand alone for a few seconds and may take a few steps alone.

Thats true hun, I think I read once that the average age for a baby to walk unaided is 15-16 months, cant remember where. But the range of walking is anywhere from 8 months- 18 months !!!!

Oh I wish my boy had only started walking unaided at 15-16 months.

My LO has been runnings since about 13 months so I've done lots of chasing already.

I know what you mean i've been looking too at milestones, she seems to be doing everything a 17 month old is doing and some 18 month old stuff too, and has been doing it for months, (she's 15 months). She's been walking since 11 months. She role plays with dollys, feeding and pushing prams around, kicks a ball around the house, this last week we've just learnt shapes! we have some bricks that are shapes and she can pick out the star, triangle and circle so far lol. she can say loads of stuff too.

All kids develop differently tho, my friends 16 month old is still crawling but has a full set of teeth, my LO only has four! swings and roundabouts.

I find it really hard to not almost "brag" to my friends. I'm just excited to tell them all the things my boy is doing, but there kids aren't quite as advanced at the same age and it makes them feel bad. Now I just don't say anything. Even on here I've kind of kept quite as it annoys me when certain people are constantly going on about what a genius their child and then other people start worrying cause there children aren't going that yet.
