any one else noticed this ?

this may sound a little odd , but here goes....
i have been using the waterproof side of Brody's matress in his cot and have noticed a few times recently while straighteningout his duvet and pillow that under the pillow is damp...... not wet as such but definatly damp.. i usually notice during the day not straight after he gets up and not every day ( havnt thought to check it when he has just got up to see if it is worse or better then )

now i am wondering if any one else has noticed this ?
its not where he has dribbled or sweated on the pillow and it soaked through as the pillow itself is dry , it is just the under side of the poillow case and the sheet under it . im thinking it may have something to do with lack of air circulating under there / the cold weather ( although its not that cold in the bedroom atm , normal temp is readiung at 19 degrees at night time) combined with the water proof matress side ...
anyway tonighgt i have turned the matress over to use the non water proof side to see if it still happens... but what do you think ... odd or what ?

maybe it's like a condensation thing I'm not really sure... Not very nice though and I suspect that it'd start to make the pillow case/sheet go mouldy after a while. What happened when you turned it over?

no sign of wetness today
maybe it is the waterproof cover and his body heat from laying on it making condensation ?
never had a probllem without pillow.... if it feels damp i change his under sheet and pillow case for fresh ones, coz i wouldnt like to sleep in a damp bed myself even if it was only in one place

hopefully using the other side will fix it, he'll be moving to a bed when he starts to climb out anyway , which i dont think will be long, so atleast its not going to be a problem for too long

glad it's sorted! I'd be rubbish and only notice when it was too late and mouldy lol.
