for those with children in nursery

Is it usual practice to pay 100% of fees if you take child out of nursery for a holiday, or do you pay a retainer?

We have to pay if Aidan doesn't go to nursery or pre-school regardless of any notice and no alternative to switch days. I think it's a little unfair, they say that it's to keep his place, but he's physically not there so surely it's making their job easier I would be totally fine with paying say half if he wasn't there, but obviously that isn't an option.

I'm just looking forward to Jan when he qualifies for the 15 hours a week government payment scheme.

Claire x
