Help, Ella has a rash!

Before Ella went to bed tonight she said she had an itchy foot. When I looked it was red but nothing odd, I guessed it was like a little heat rash from where she'd had her sock on.

I've just gone up to go to bed and she was awake talking about how it was 'bleeding' so I went in, switched her light on and she has clusters of what look like bites (white dots all close together) over her arms and legs. She was also itching in her hair.

Does anyone know what this could be? I'm really worried about her

A little update, because everyone is wise and in bed

I have spoken to NHS Direct and they seem to think is an allergy as it's like nettle rash. Ella seems fine in herself (very annoyed with me for waking her up multiple times in a state of panic) so they told me to take her to the chemist tomorrow and get some anti hystemine (sp?).

It's typical, I have a toddler up with a sickness bug and then the one I thought was healthy causes mass panic at 1am with a rash

I had a nettle rash one, kinda like hives?

Yes it was hive like. She's woken up this morning fine and the whole rash had disappeared

. I can't believe that at 2am this morning it was all over her arms and legs and now there's nothing? At least she's better though, it must have been an allergy
