Potty training- HELP!!

I am currently trying to potty train my daughter, she's nearly 2 and a half!
She understands when she's done a wee and a poo but gettin gher to use the potty is a nightmare! She has worn pants all morning and i've kept asking her if she needs a wee and her potty is in the room with her, but she has just weed on the floor whilst playing! She's upset that she has weed on her pants and dress but doesn't seem bothered by being put back in a nappy!! Any advice?? I really want her to go to playgroup in Sept where she needs to be dry! x

I put a box of smarties candies, a bowl of chocolate chips, or mini marshmallows on top of the potty - when she went, she got one.

I'm not above bribery! lol

the best advice i've got for you and this advice as worked for me and three of my friends went potty training.

go cold turkey on the nappy during the day, don't make a big deal if they do an accident say never mind clean them up put some clean clothes on them and start again, but make a big deal if they do something in the potty.

you will find that you do need two weeks and you will find the first week hard with ups and downs but the second week is better.

the reason i say this is cos, they get confused if one mintue they are in pants/knickers and they do an acident they get put back in nappies. they don't know if they are allowed to pee their and then.
