naps-1 year olds

I notice that a lot of 1 year old babies on here seem to be down to one nap a day, Hannah still has two most days though they aren't (normally) as long as in the past. Anyone else still have a baby who takes 2 naps?

My DD was still having 2 naps until she was 16 months. She then dropped her afternoon nap and would have a long morning nap but would still get tired in the afternoon but not enough to sleep!!. I eventually managed to adjust the time of her morning nap by keeping her up later in the morning until she would have a nap about 12.30pm after her lunch.

DD is now 2 yrs and still has this nap but I've cut it down to only 1 hour as she would sleep for over 2 hours but it started interfering with going to bed at night.

I think as long as your DD is happy with her naps and is still sleeping well at night then I would not worry as she will soon let you know when she want to drop a nap.

Enjoy the peace and quiet while you can.

Hi Toby still has two naps. He is usually up by 7 or just after and then he will have his morning nap around 9 for roughly an hour and then he usually has his afternoon nap around 2pm for 1-2hrs. Then he is in bed between 6.30pm/7pm xx
