ignoring is the way to go like everyone says - they thrive off the attention at this age so if you can be strong, grit your teeth and ignore LO and when they are calm go back and give all the cuddles in the world - it will sink in eventually - its just hard for you - so chin up and good luck XXXXXXXXXXXX (it does get better - promise) !

We haven't had many blow-out tantrums yet, thank goodness, but I have a feeling they're coming...

i just walk off and ignore summer, however i had to start telling her off when she hits me as the walking off thing wasnt working.
i have never put summer in her cot as i dont want her to see it as a place for punishment. i think they are little too young to associate a cot with two different things, like a place to be calm and relaxed for bed and also a place where they are put when being naughty. i think summer would dislike her cot and start to dislike being put in their for bed only my opinion though x
