Help me diagnose Casen??? *bare butt pics inside*

Ok so I posted about Casen's constipation. Well today he has bad diarrhea, he pooped in his pants 3x today!!! Which he's been potty trained for 2yrs, that just doesn't happen so I know his tummy must have really been hurting for him not to make it to the bathroom. Two of the times we were out at stores too, which was just wonderful. I think I posted about that rash that he had on his butt, I thought might have been the Gain detergent I was using but I have since gone back to Dreft and no improvement if anything it's a little worse. Which makes me think all these pooping issues are connected to the rash. The spots you can see in the pics are flat but feel like REALLY dry skin, he said they don't itch just are sore. So anyone know what it is???? My SIL said Kenzie had something like it, they were smaller but Desitin cleared it up so I'm getting some tomorrow and hoping that helps but wanted some other opinions too

looks like a bad nappy rash to me, but i thi nk nappy rashesare usually wet and sore rather than dry. maybe ecsma or just an irritaion brought on by the summer heat ? otherwise i couldnt say, how old is he could he be teething ( would account for the poop issues and the sore bum ...) ?
hope it gets better soon

Well he is potty trained so he's never in a wet diaper/dirty diaper so I can't imagine it's diaper rash. He does have eczema but actually hasn't had any flare ups at all since he was like 2, he's 4 now, so we thought he outgrew it, but I'm not sure if that's what it is. But no teeth coming in. I'm really at a loss, I have no clue what it is I'm hoping the diaper cream I'm gonna get today will help, otherwise I'll have to take him in. We dont have insurance so I was trying to deal with it without having to do that

Thanks! Someone else just suggested impetigo to me and I wasn't even thinking about that, Landon has had it before but around his mouth so it never crossed my mind. Our pedi had recommended polysporin to use on that so I'm going to try that on his bum and see if it helps, if not I'll do the diaper cream, if still nothing I'll take him into the dr

So would it be common to have it on other areas of your body? Like his butt? When Landon had it it was around his mouth and that's it
