anyone elses one year old or toddler

Cut out their afternoon nap I am having a bit of a problem because Nathan used to sleep in the mornings when I get off from my morning shift at work and would sleep from 930 am to about 1030 am and then before I went back to work for the afternoon shift he would go down at about 2 and sleep till 330.

The problem is he is so crabby! Its either I keep him up until about 1230 till after lunch and give him an afternoon nap or I give him a nap at 10 and he is still crabby either way. He will only take one nap regardless but I put him down at 10 am because he so crabby but then is crabby at like 3 but wont take an afternoon nap. '

Sorry if this doesnt make sense just need some advice.

Riley used to kinda be like that, his naps always changed and it was so annoying! He used to have 3 seperate hour naps per day, then one morning, one afternoon hour nap and now one afternoon nap for 2.5 hours. He gets real grumpy late morning because he's tired, but after his lunch at around 1ish he goes down. Id rather he slept in the afternoon because he would be so grumpy if he stayed awake from like 10am round till 7.30pm. Has he recently started walking? I know when Riley got more mobile he hated going for naps, and wanted to be on the go allll day. Now hes been walking for about 5 months he gets more worn out and needs the sleep I hope his nap pattern gets better for you

When max was born Harriet was 12 months and had two naps a day, when she was the age he is now (19 months) she wasn't napping anymore.
he he a two hour nap in the morning, varies in time at the weekend though. We just do it when he seems tired

Nathaniel dropped all of his naps. He gets grouchy and will occassionally nap but otherwise it is quite a battle. He now very rarely naps during the day.

Alfie battles but he never wins lol. I put him in bed and he could get out if he really wanted but he just whines for 5 mins then he is asleep. Also if we ate in the car after 1pm'ish he will defo fall asleep.

Although if we are out at a friends or something he just won't sleep. Then when we are on our way home at 6pm he falls asleep

he has been walking since he was 9 months old and he has never been a great sleeper. He just wants to go go go all day long! But then he gets super crabby so today I am going to put him down after lunch to see if he is better.
