should i tell my mommy?

I wrote a post on here last night with all my signs,
and a lot of ppl said i have a lot of the syptoms;
my mom is starting to ask me questions and i think she has an idea i could be pregnant,
but when i took a test last month after being 3 weeks late it came up
but my friend said her test didnt show up till she was three months.

Should i tell my mom i could be pregnant ?
Because she wants me to go get my hip checked at the hospital,
and if i do they always ask if theres a chance i could be pregnant,
so i wanna tell my mom before we go .

should i tell her?
and should my boyfriend tell his mom too ?

It's very unusual not to get a positive pregnancy test until you are 3 months pregnant. If you are already late and you are pregnant, you should get a positive by now - as you're testing this weekend anyway I'd wait until you have before you tell her if you think she might not be happy to find out you're pregnant. When are you going to the hospital?

Depends on what your moms reaction would be, but if you're testing this weekend you could always wait til' you've tested

usually you'd have enough of the pregnancy hormone to have a positive test result now.. i know from experience, if you're late and then start thinking you're pregnant and getting worked up about it, you can actually cause your body to have the signs and symptoms of a pregnancy.

i'd test first though. don't want to get your mom upset and worked up if it wasn't what it seems...

Yep, if you aren't getting your period and your pregnancy tests are showing up negative.. and it's been AWHILE since your last period, you should be seeing a doctor anyway, in my opinion! Hope everything is alright.. tell your mom AFTER you go to the hospital with your boyfriend maybe.

I agree with the other girls. If you have had normal cycles in the past then you need to go to the doctors they can do blood test which are more acurate. At least you will know for sure before telling any one, in England if you are over a certain age the docs are not allowed to tell ur parents. Until you know for sure i probly would wait but in the meantime sweetie you do need to be able to talk to some one about how you are feeling, worried anxeity ect dont go through the worry on your own. I dont know your mum chic but, you may be supprised how she will take the news, my daughter was pregnany at 15 and i was upset at first like any mum u just want the best for your little ones but i knew i needed to be strong for her no matter what her disicion was. And belive me she really dreaded telling me, i actually told her. here if you need to chat. X

Oh love, it all depends on the relationship you have with your mum. If you are close it might be nice to have that support with you and perhaps even a little reassurance about your test results. So many wait until they get the positive to say anything, your mum may actually be touched that you trusted her enough to come to her with your concerns first.

Only you know your mum. Good luck.
