Baby Movement.

Hi, im 19wks+2 and have felt alot of movement the past couple of weeks, but yesterday i hardly felt a thing even when i was laid down resting on an evening(which is when little one usually came alive) and also havent felt much or anything this morning. Is it normal for them to have really active days and then hardly move other days. I know its early days and its only flutters you usually feel, but its reassuring feeling baby kick away. Am i worrying over nothing? Also i have my 20 week scan on Tuesday dont want to be worrying till then.

Totally normal hun some days baby just have lazy days , They used up all their energy the day before. As long as you still are really some movement then you should be fine. You shouldnt even kick count till your like 28 weeks or something , so try not to worry too much.

Completely normal hun. My little man goes crazy moving, kicking, punching, doing flips for a few days non stop, then one day he won't move barely at all. He's been this way for as long as I've been able to feel him move, around 17 weeks. The ultrasound will reassure you that everything is fine. And as he/she gets bigger and moves more, you'll begin to notice a real obvious pattern. So don't worry hun. And make sure to post pictures after your scan!

Yeah normally. What i used to do when i missed feeling my lil guy moving was run a hot bath and lay flat with just my belly poking out and splash the hot water on it, that normally got him moving. Plus its quite weird cos if you do it later on in your pregnancy you can see the hands and feet pushing against the wall. lol

Yea don't worry too much hun babies have lazy days and you're not meant to worry too much about movement til 28/29 weeks (although always trust your instinct if you think something is wrong) and sometimes if you've been busier you'll keep baby sleepy

If it gets to a point where you've felt no movement at all for a while then they suggest drink a cold or fizzy drink and have a lie down for about an hour and if still no movement call your doctor/midwife xxx

movement doesn't get consistent until after 24 weeks or so; but yeah, I wouldn't worry too much

I agree with the other girls, your baby is still tiny so he still has plenty of room in there. He's probably gone exploring and checking out which organs he can squash when he gets bigger hope you're feeling better about his movements
