Hello Girlies!

Hiya girls!
I don't belong on here anymore.
However I thought i'd drop by and just wish you all luck.

I had my son when I was 18 and heavily relied on this forum for support and met some lovely people on this. One, whom I class a good friend now.

I have a gorgeous two year old (Well 28month old but he'll always be my tiny baby) and 22 weeks pregnant with my little girl.

I remember how terrifying and daunting it was being pregnant as a teenager and being stereotyped. Unfortunately the stereotyping doesn't fade - I'm 21 and still look 18 but pushing a toddler and having a bump I get a few comments, sniggers and bitchyness. But don't batter an eyelid at those low people. They don't know you or your situation so don't get affected by them!

One thing I will stress is - Life changes. Your OH now may not be your OH in a years time. When I was on this forum as an 18yr old-pregnant-happy and very much in love, i thought and presumed that would never change and I'd be with him for the rest of my life. I even gave up my life for him and moved 116miles away from everything i knew, for him. The relationship went downhill and unfortunately he decided to be abusive. Not just mentally which taught me that you never truly know someone and love does make you blind. We spent nine months in court fighting over our sons custody and access. Then he decided to chuck it all in and wash his hands of our son. Now he has no parental responsibility and won't be allowed to see me or my children again.

If any of you girls need any advice or someone to generally talk to - I'd happily get to know you all. Especially if you're facing parenthood by yourself. As I was a single Mum for a long time and only recently embarked on a new relationship even though he's not the father of either of my children.

28 months being a Mummy and it's the best job and feeling in the entire world. We're both extremely happy and I have some amazing people around me for support and guidance when I need it.

Get in touch girls.
And best of luck xxx
