Becoming super needy to my OH

This is going to make me sound like a complete crazy stalker but I really want to know if anyone else ever felt this in pregnancy.

Everytime my OH and I leave each other, for work or whatever, I get separation anxiety. I feel sick in the stomach and nervous and scared. I think about him constantly and wish I could just be with him. I haven't acted too crazy and let on that I feel this way but I'm worried I will soon.

It doesn't make sense to me, I wasn't like this before I was totally fine with us doing things alone. Now I'm just counting the minutes til I get to see him again and when we are together I don't leave his side. He's so nice and good, he really gets me when I'm sad and emotional and is good at calming me down so maybe I'm worrying about something else and so I just want to be around him to make me feel better?

Please don't make fun of me! Haha

Definitely normal hunny there was a point where if my OH didn't respond to my calls/texts within 30 second intervals I'd begin crying and screaming at him.
I still do get sad and anxious when he leaves, since your emotions are so heightened this is normal.

The day I turned 14 weeks it got a LOT better though. goodluck

Aw thanks

I hope it gets better as it progresses. Currently the only things I feel are extremely tired and extremely emotional. Nothing in between! Haha.

Of course! It should get better once you get into your second trimester, I know exactly what you mean. I was always asleep or crying over something small my entire first trimester!

I'm in third now and I get upset when my OH wants to spend the night at his friends house (we live together).. He's actually really angry at me for it and I WANT to be ok with it but I'm just not ok when he goes out, I get all teary and can't sleep

We've agreed that he has to stay in every night starting shortly because I'd be so upset if I went into labour and couldn't get a hold of him.. so I have to deal.

in other words, perfectly normal. Yay for hormones!

I know what you mean.. I want my boyfriend all the time.. I only see him for a few days at a time once every 2 weeks or so, so when I'm there I'm always reaching out for him to hug or cuddle me.. haha.

I'm the same with my other half. He just joined a drama group and has made loads of new friends and each time he leaves I go crazy. It seems to have happened suddenly with the girls he's with. If he talks to them I get upset. i sound like a complete nutter and he can't really see where i'm coming from. x

Hiya. I'm a lurker from teen parenting

Just want to let you know that this was 100% me whilst pregnant and my OH got so annoyed with me and it would cause arguements all the time. But after having my little girl it died down a lot and now it has practically gone. I think it is normal whilst pregnant, hormones are crazy etc, I wouldn't worry too much because it is most likely because you are pregnant. But for most it does go away in the end, just remember your hormones are crazy right now and they still will be for a while after having your LO. x
