I'm Currently Feeling: | Pills and late periods Sorry to keep going on...and on....and on....but..
Anyone on Cerazette, or any other POP, when you came off, how long did it take for your period to arrive?
Last time I came off it my period came dead on 28 days. I've been on it a couple of months longer than last time but I'm now about 6 days late.
I took a test the day I was due a period and neg. I have no symptoms as far as I can..feel..No sore boobs, perhaps peeing a bit more often, but that happens when my period's due anyway.
I've had very mild cramps, but only a couple of times and they barely lasted a minute. Last time I had TERRIBLE cramps a couple of days before I was due and up until almost the end of my period.
So wondering anyone's experience with pills and coming off of them. I have a Drs appointment on wednesday for something else.. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hello!
I might be able to help you! I was on cerazette for about a year and I decided to come off begining of June this year as i split from boyfriend and didnt think we would be getting back together well anywaysss I didnt have a 'period' untill the end of the month, I dont think the first time you have a bleed after coming off the pill is actually a period,as far as I know its like a withdrawel bleed and your body getting back on track. I then had a proper period in July and fell pregnant in August, So fingers crossed your body will get back into a normal cycle and your ovulating will return to normal.
I would say with you being 6 days late then its probably just ur body getting back on track but if ur anything like me then you'll have a little one on the way in no time!
Good luck hun

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yeah, I had what seemed to be a withdrawal bleed last time with some horrid pains.. It's been 34 days since I came off the pill, and last time I'm SURE it came on the 28th day!
Seems strange to me, because my period pains usually come about 2 days before my period is due, aswell as withdrawal bleeds.. I haven't had any period pains for the past couple of days, and I don't feel 'heavy' like I usually do just before af.
I suppose perhaps it's effected by what point in your cycle you stop taking the pill. Wish I'd made a point of noting that last time.
Thanks
xxxx
P.S Your LO is due on my birthday! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Ahh ritee, well maybe thats a good sign if you havent had any bleeding yet ! You could of been lucky enough to get pregnant since you came off it.
Just look out in the next week or so to see if your getting any sort of bleeding cos even if it lasts a day it could be withdrawrel and then you can get going on the ol' baby making !
Pleasure hun . Let us know how it goes, will have my fingers crossed for you!
Aww really! Birthday buddie! Its a day after my Bf's bday, what a nice prezzie that would be lol!
Take Care

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm kind of in the same boat. I came off two months ago, and got my first period pretty much on time, and this is the second month, and now its a week late, but i tested on the day it was due and got a neg. But i've been getting light cramps for a few days now. Which is weird because I usually only got cramps the day of AF. So, i'm sure it could be our bodies just getting all in order, but who knows? Actually what i just wrote is pretty much dead on with your experience, so it's probably normal |

I thought I'd do a test again yesterday seen as that would be my seventh late day, and I really thought it was positive. Left it and came back and there was a second line. Almost 100% sure it's an evap or just a mark from where the stuff is that makes the line if you are pregnant.
I did get all excited though, and a sudden rush of maternal-ness came over me!
Meh, I'll have to just see what my Dr thinks when I see him. Had mild period pains for a moment yesterday. |

I saw that line on my test a couple of days ago and felt excited, no fear at all. I'm sure that would've come if it had been a proper line rather than just a colourless mark, but now I'm hoping, but doubting. We'll see. |
