Ohhh...where to start?

First of all, some backround information I suppose. When I was 17, I hooked up with this guy who was 23 at the time with 2 kids. I knew about the kids before hand so I made him use a condom. Long story short, he took the condom off mid-sex without my knowledge (I was extremely drunk) while switching positions and didn't tell me until afterwards. He was the type of guy that took a LONG time to 'finish' so I never gave him the opportunity to (rude of me, i know ). Anywho, I got tested and found out I had chlamydia. The doctor mentioned how my chances of pregnancy were reduced (I forget by how much..?).

About a month after that happened I got back together with my ex-boyfriend of two years. We broke up because I moved away for a while and it was getting rough being so far away from him. I moved in with him and we've been together ever since.

For the past year, we've been having unprotected sex. Alot of it, lol. I'm kind of shocked (as are alot of my friends & family) that I'm not pregnant yet. But each month if I'm a few days late I can't help but think "What if...?" but always get let down.

This month has been different though.

Around July 7th I came back to my parents house for a vacation and brought my boyfriend with me. I don't remember the EXACT day I started my last period but I would say it was within the first week of me being back home. My mom started her period a few days after I did. So that brings me to this month. It's almost the end of August and my mother is already back on her period (probably almost through with it...) and I still have yet to start mine.

Lately, I've been feeling pretty yucky. If I don't have a headache I have cramps, if it's not cramps then I'm EXTREMELY tired. I've been feeling like this for the past week/week and a half. People have been saying I'm extremely moody. A couple times I have been really depressed and I have no idea why.

I know that there's no way for you guys to know if I'm pregnant, I just want to know if this is NORMAL for me to feel like this? Sometimes I think that I'm just thinking about it too much (because I really want a kid) and that there's no way I'm pregnant. But I'm not so sure anymore. About when should I take a pregnancy test? Every month I tell myself "If I don't start by so-and-so I'm taking a test" and it seems each time I think that, I start a few days later.

take a test as you can never know. before i was pregnant i had a month when i was convinced i had symptoms and then it turned out i didnt.
The month when i was pregnant i had no idea!! i was simply late and about to go out with the girls on a big one! so i thought id check so i didnt feel guilty and could have a good few drinks, well thats when i knew.
The only way to be sure is to test - if your over a month late then it will be fine - good luck and let us know how it goes

Definitely take a test hun. Pregnancy symptoms can be quite similar to the symptoms you get just before your period so the only way to be sure is to test.
The month I conceived I had just gone back on the pill and just thought that I was coming on, I didnt think I could be pregnant but sure enough I was.
Do you know how long you had chlamydia for? If its caught early I think the chances of it affecting your fertility are minimal but if you had it for a long time then I think the chances are slightly higher. Im sure you will be absolutely fine hun

I only had it for a few days. A week at the most.

Can anyone recommend some good at home tests? I've never taken one and I know that at some places there are alot of choices. I don't care about the price too much as long as it's really accurate.

Suspense was killing me, so I went and bought the only test the store around here (I live in the middle of NOWHERE)..............

Yes, It's what I wanted! I've been hoping for it the past YEAR! So I'm definitely excited. I don't really plan on telling my parents and relatives until I go to the clinic and test and know for SURE.

As soon as I got done urinating on it, well...right before i put the little cap thing back on, it was already showing positive. I'm not sure if that's supposed to mean I am infact pregnant, but I sure hope it's accurate! Can't wait to go to clinic and find out!!!

well a positive is a positive babe, but test again in a few days just to be sure ! but more than likely its accurate!
