I'm Currently Feeling: | Could it be... Okay. Bellow my belly button, and a little above my pelvic bone is firm, and sometimes its raised and sticks out so much. I've been told this is normal - so i'm not worried.
However, a friend of mine has recently noticed exactly the same thing on herself. She asked me to feel it, so, I gave it a little prod.. and sure enough, it's hard too, and quite raised. She came off the pill about a month and 1 or 2 weeks ago - she'd been on holiday, ran out, and hadn't gone back on since- and hasn't bled since after a withdrawal bleed, but she thinks it's all due to her body getting used to it all. She's had some typical pregnancy symptoms i.e. dark breasts, raised bumps (cant spell it for the life of me), sore breasts, fatigue, feeling nauseas, period like cramping with no bleeding etc etc - but again has put this all down to her coming off the pill.
Is it possible she got pregnant right away - or already WAS pregnant? I know that after coming off the pill sometimes pregnancy symptoms occur, but it was the tummy that got me =s
She's booked in for the doctors for friday, but I'm just curious to know what you guys think..
=s

I'm Currently Feeling: | I got pregnant while i was on the pill...
I came off it when I split with OH, and put lack of periods and weight gain to that...
I was 22 weeks before I took a pregnancy test...
Maybe a test from the chemist would be an idea?? I'd advise to make sure they're branded though, as I took one from asda when I must have been about 8 weeks, and it showed negative...

x | Gosh, 22 weeks! Yeah, good idea. Just gotta convince her - she's adamant it's the pill. :P

I'm Currently Feeling: | Lots of girls get pregnant while on the pill but don't even know it for a long time - the pill is only 98% effective IF you take it everyday at the exact same time and don't skip! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | The pill can be ineffective too if she had been on antibiotics at some point.
Truly, she needs to take a test to confirm if she is or isn't pregnant. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Certainly sounds like possible pregnancy symptoms to me. She really needs to test asap. I too fell pregnant whilst on the pill, but in my case was happy (once I'd got over the shock!) as had PCOS and was told that I could have fertility problems when I wanted to start a family.
Wishing you and your friend all the best hun xx |
