I'm Currently Feeling: | First of all, you have to remember that each parent wants only the best for the children and they wish to see their children go off to college or university, form a career, get married and then have babies.
So it is quite a shock to a parent when their child comes home and tells them she is pregnant.
However, if your parents are loving and supportive parents, they will come around.
If my daughter came home at your age and told me she was pregnant, I would be shocked and disappointed, but in time, she is my flesh and blood and I would support her with whatever decision she makes.
So, just give them time to get used to the idea and hopefully they will come around for you! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hey hunni!!
First & formost, congratulations & welcome
Seeing as you've posted in the Teen section i'm assuming your a teenager lol!! Obviously this probably isn't what your mum wanted for you but it's happened now & pregnancy is a true gift!
I'm sure in time your mum will come round. She probably just needs to get her head round it. After all, you are her little girl!! Maybe it is a good idea to stay at your boyfs for a few days. Let her have space & time to think. I bet it won't be long till she's calling you to get you back home so she can take good care of ya!!! My mum wasn't massively happy when she found out about my pregnancy but she got used to it & now she's one very excited Nanny to be!!
As for your dad......It's the same. Yeh he'll be shocked but give him time & he'll be fine. I thought my dad would go mad but actually he's been great. Very supportive!!

I'm Currently Feeling: | When I wasn't being an angel at home, my mom used to say "I can't wait until you're 18 so I don't have to care about you anymore."
Well, honey, it's all just words. I moved out at 19 and she bawled her eyes out. |
