Its Actually Happening

Hey all, im new to this. So hey ha.

Im 18 found out last weekend im expecting, really excited as a couple months ago I miscarried very early in the pregnancy. Me and my OH were really upset and disapointed as its something I have wanted since I have been young for various reasons. Me & OH have been together for nearly a year now, very strong relationship, more like best friends than anything. He's happy about this, we reckon were about 5 weeks now, got midwife next week. Were in a long distance relationship half way up the country, but its perfect. Were both excited and were both just waiting now.

Only problem is telling my mum and dad, his mum and dad have been waiting grandkids for ages now, and have even asked both my OH and his sister how long its gonna take, so they will be chuffed about it. Its just my parents, my mum got pregnant with my eldest sister aged 17 and gave birth to her 2 days before her 18. Im so scared to tell them both, I know my mum is going to flip. Me and my Oh are gonna do it when were together again next week after the midwife then off to his to tell his family.

How am I gonna do this, possibly the scariest day of my life...

Arghhhh!!!

Tell them as soon as you can. The longer you leave it, the harder it gets.
Congratulations!

Congratulations! I agree just tell them, blurt it out if you have to, otherwise it will continue to get harder and harder and you won't end up telling them.

Definitely better just to get it out the way. You never know, you may be pleasantly suprised with their reaction!

Good luck and congratulations
