WOW hun, you still havent told your Mom how far are you now Your Dr can not tell your parents... they keep all that confidential. You really need to go to the Dr... for your baby's health

Hey, didn't want to read and run...

I'm 17 and 9 weeks pregnant, luckily enough I had my OH's support when we went to the doctors and we went the day after we found out I was pregnant (baring in mind, the first visit was to discuss an abortion) ... we went again a week after as we decided to keep the LO and are really happy now.

The doctor will need to discuss your health, family's health, do different types of check-ups and tests, explain the different types of medication you should be taking to help your baby's growth and development, book you in for a midwife which will then help you throughout the pregnancy and after birth without judging you. The doc will NOT judge you or tell anyone as everything you tell them is confidential. Just please visit them soon, for your baby's sake and for yourself. You need to find out how far along you are and also different pregnancy medication you should be taking such as folic acid.

Please don't worry about telling your OH just yet, that will all work out in its own time but your mum needs to know.
I still haven't told my mum yet as we're not close either, so I might sound quite hypocritical when I tell you to tell her and I know how hard it is to find the right time if there is one... but then again I have my OH's support and a few really close friends. You need someone to support you, you can't do this on your own, it'll be a far too scary experience to go through on your own, especially at 16.

Just please talk to your mum and get yourself to the docs hun.

Looking back you thought you were 12 weeks ish back in May so you really need to get to a docs hun, you can't hide this forever. You are going to be a mum so you need to take responsibility, sure your mum might be a bit angry for a bit but then she will be there to support you. If you are that worried perhaps write her a letter to explain it and then once she has read it the two of you can sit down and talk about it.

hi im becky and im 17 im here if you would like to chat!! i was like this i was 4months when i told my mom about me being pregnant im not close to her at all and her lack of interest in my life is why she didnt find out sooner!,in the end my sister told her with out me knowing and she still isnt intrested but im sure she will come roundwhen the little one is born.
i would advise you to got to the doctors i thought the same tht he was gunna look down at me.
but he was actulley quiet sweet about it very understanding i didnt go to the doctors untill i was 14weeks stupidly i was scared what they would think and of letting anyone know. but i had my scan 3weeks after and saw my baby and fell in love!!! lol
the doctor wont tell you mom cuz your 16 but they will strongly advse you to tell her.

lol mad ennit im past caring now to be honest if she isnt intrested inme or my life the she can f**k her self excuse my language!!
erm well as soon as i got in there the doctor said so whats the problem i said basically ive taken two pregnancy test and im pretty sure im pregnant but i hate coming the doctors and was worried of what people would think.
he asked when the date of my last period was.
took a wee sample, and asked if i wanted to have an abortion or keep the baby he gave me the number to the abortion clinic if i decided to change my mind and booked me in for a midwife appointment for the very next day.
quiet straight forward to be honest xxx

Yeah, I have no-one in my life, which is one of the reasons I suffer from depression =[
I would never get an abortion in a million years(personally I think it's wrong)

What do the mid-wifes do? Someone has said that they help you all the way through the pregnancy =/
