| You're normally not recommended to have sex for 6 weeks after baby is born, or at least til after your post partum check. Also, the doctor should have discussed contraception with you. Are you breast or bottle feeding?
It is possible in theory to fall pregnant straight after having a baby, however I don't think it's that common. Plus, you would still be bleeding for at least 2 weeks after your son was born, so the blood and lochia would probably wash the semen back out as quick as it went in....
As the others have said, the only way you'll know, is by testing, but I would have thought it would be too early to get a result now. If you're not trying for another baby, then I would suggest going to the docs for a blood pregnancy test, and lay off the sex until you have decided on some form of contraception. |
