I'm Currently Feeling: | Really glad to hear that shes come round and being supportive now hun
I think all mums initial reaction is that, afterall, her 'baby' is having a baby of their own so its hard for them to come around. But the most important thing is that she has realised you need her comfort and support and has come around . |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Do what you want. You will get help from other people even if your mum won't help but when she starts seeing you grow she might realise how silly she has been. You will get help so your life isn't you're just going to be raising another one with you! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Blah11 thats unfortunately the way the cookie crumbles.
I fell pregnant at 16 - my father is a POLICEMAN & my mother is very protective so it was a huge thing for my family but they get over it. everything changes when they see you glowing, see your belly & NOTHING is better than when they see your child. That changes everything!
Trust me it will be ok! Stay positive for your baby! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I think she will come round....the initial shock will make her mad and disappointed, but she will come round. She is a mother herself and she will be the support network you need.
I think at 20, although very young, you are old enough to make your own decisions.
Talk to her again, explain you didn't plan it but are excited etc etc and i am positive she will be on your side before you know it!!!
Good Luck |

| I still thinks she thinks pregnancy was planned but it realllly wasn't! Oh well. We had quite a long chat yesterday and she was being so awesome about it. She said we can live in her house as long as we want b/c she'd rather I stayed there and was safe than being put into a rough area in a council bedsit! Now I can see she just wanted whats best for me.. now she knows I'm 100% in my decision she's fine with it. | | | | Status: Offline
