hey guys, im on levlen ED, and im not sure if its the pill thats making me sick or if its something else.
i keep getting these tummy pains, there not period or ovulation pains and its not like a sore tummy where u have to "do the deed"
i was asking mum about it and she wasnt to sure either and thought maybe the pill wasnt agreeing with me?...ive been on the pill for 5 months now and ive only started to feel sick..with headaches, sore tummy and im supposedly in a 'bitchy' mood alot of the time.
Has anyone experienced this before?
and if it is the pill thats not agreeing with me..why would it take 5 months for me to start feeling the side effects?
and also..this isnt a sign of pregnancy is it? because i have missed my pill a few times and dont always remember to take it at the same time everyday.
but im not sure...thats just a wild speculation, i just ended my last period about 6 days ago, so i dont think anythings up.
but any help would be great thanks.
oh and i wasnt to sure where to post this thread..i hope its ok in here
Well I would talk to your dr.... It could just be the pill. It could also be that you are not taking them when you should be and that is why you get some cramping. Some women do experence upset tummys with the pill so they take them at night when they can sleep it off. Hope that helps....

I'm not sure about the sicknness,it could be that it's just not agreeing with you but I just want to give you an advice: Take your pill regularly, they don't work if you don't and they can cause you a lot of problems, screw up your cycles and it could be the reason why you're feeling sick.Plus,it's not a good birth control if it's not taken regularly...

It could well be your pill, side effects can kick in at any time, mine did after 3 years on Microgynon. I'd urge you to speak to your GP.
Also i'd urge to to devise a way of remembering to take your pill every day, perhaps an alarm on your mobile? It is so crucial for not only birth control but your own health as well that it is taken as prescribed.
|Perhaps pop them beside your bed and take one each evening, this worked for me and i never forgot one that way!
Good luck
