The one bad thing about emails or text messages, is often people on the other end can interpret them wrong. However, some people are more open when it comes to writing. I know I can write a letter a whole bunch better than I can verbally say things, especially when I am scared or hurt.
You do what you feel is right.

i told my dad on the phone this morning
i was really nervous
i thourght hew was going to be really annoyed
but it went really well
he was really happy
and it will be his first grandchild
and he is already planning on taking some time off work so that he can come over and see me, my bump and boyfreind
and he says he will give me all the support i need, and he says he is going to steal everyones old baby things for me lol, as loads of people he know has had babies not that long ago
thank you to everyone who responded to my thread
without everyones reasurrence i really dont think i would have been able to tell him
im 16 + pregnant so have been in a similar situation but i think it is best you go an see your dad to speak to him but then again what ever you feel will be better for you, just think of how your dad will feel if your send him a email or text, would he prefer you to speak to him face-to-face? xx
Well said! If somebody prefers one way over another you should respect their preferences. Good job telling your father, see sometimes it isn't as difficult as it seems! Like I'm one to talk, I got my grandma to tell my dad.
