a really painful pain?

last night i had this really bad pain going down my left side
it felt like someone was gripping me & twisting, and it was that bad that i couldnt stand up.

it stayed for about 10 minutes then sort of faded abit, then just went.

could it of just been the way i was laying, where my bump was being pulled?
its completely gone now and i havent had anything like it since.

but it really was so bad, i literally had to scream for my mum.

anyone know what it was?

awwww ! I get a sharp pain in the lower part of my back and stomach area when I stand up it's awful.... I know how your feeling, but I'm sure it's nothing to worry about just probably the way you were laying... But I'd get a a second opinion from your doctor or midwife if it comes back hope everythings ok (yn) xxx

Bubs could of been lying on a nerve or turned/rolled over maybe and stretched her home a little more? I'm not too sure hun! I'd keep an eye on it and mention it to your MW, probs absolutely nothing to worry about though!

I had this same pain yesterday on my right side and called my midwife and am coming in first thing tomorrow morning just to be on the safe side. I'm sure bubs is ok but I know we like to be reassured. <3
