Dunno, think they think if I'm under their roof I should pull my weight and do my share of washing up etc. She hasn't made a point before this so maybe she was just in a bad mood and took it out on me

I think it's nuts that she is expecting you to run around with the weight of a bowling ball strapped to your stomach! Honestly, it's like some mothers forget how hard being pregnant was, based on how some act according to the girls on here. I guess it's their way of worrying for their lo- it could be pretty unsettling to see your "baby" have a baby. I'm sure they worry about you and since they probably still see you as their little girl, it's hard for them to imagine you taking care of baby, iykwim?

But no matter how they feel, it is uncalled for. I'd have a heart to heart with your dad if I was you- just let him know how when he says those things it hurts, and how much you love and are committed to making a wonderful life for you and lo.

dont worry about not doing much! i hardly did anything until this week when i cleaned the house spotless. pregnancy is tiring.
ive only got ontop of my cleaning now becuase i stopped working so i have more time and energy now.
my mum was also the same when i was pregnant but she also kicked me out after i turned 16. i would 'try' talk to them and just say how ur feeling and that u need support.

rite ok so dont shoot me for this and its not an excuse for your mum to make you cry but do you think maybe shes just getting nervous and anxious for her daughter going into labour? and maybe its came out the wrong way and obviously our hormones are all over the shop aswell so it just makes a bad situation worse.. i hope your feeling better today...the hormones def get worse the later on you get than ever i was walkin about tesco yesterday crying cause a woman drew me a dirty look for telling my hubs off lol i flipped out n told him i wasnt going back over the door til the baby was here so your not the only one to feel sensitive xxx
