I am new to the forum, and I'm not quite sure how this works, But I am looking for some advice.

I started Try-clyclen low on the first day of my last period. I hardly ever remembered to take my pills ontime, and somedays I didnt remember to take them at all. My boyfriend and I have been having unprotected sex for months now, including throughout this last month. I stopped taking the bc early, the last time I took a pill was wed. And when I did not get my period by friday, I took a HPT (home pregnency test/ Early Response). And it came out negative. The last week or so I've been extremely sick, dizzy spells, lower back pain, weak muslces the whole 10 yards lol. And now I am noticing a brown discharge after I go to the washroom (when I wipe). That usually only happens for me after I am finishing my period. So, I am just wondering, Is it possible that even tho it was first response, it might not have picked up a pregnancy?..

am not much help on this one, but all i can say is leave it a few days maybe and take another test maybe?

yh hun, its possible. alot of ppl test early and it comes up as negative and they later find out that theyre pregnant! like rachel said, maybe u should test again in another few days. good luck! xx

Well the symptoms match...You should take another test in a few days and see.
But the pill can mess up your cycles a lot especially if you take it irregularly...

Only way to be sure is take another test

Sometimes, depending on what bc pill you take you can suffer from side effects like that, especially an abnormal monthly time. I would wait a week or so and take another test.

Best bet is to take another test in a few days.

I was on the same Birth Control for a number of years and finally, I wanted to change as I suffered quite a few headaches. The first month I was on the new pill, I didn't get my period and I was freaked. I wasn't pregnant but it was due to the fact that the pill was too weak. (So the doctor says.) I got off of those in a hurry. LOL

Anyhow, could be because you changed birth control pills.

At the same time, if you are on the pill you need to take it regularly and not forget. These are the times when pregnancy occurs.
