full bladder for 20 week scan?

so, ive got my anomaly scan a week today. they didn't say whether i need to have a full bladder or not? cos i had to with my first scan at 13+3. help please?

No you don't need a full bladder for you're 20 week scan.. They only say to have it full at the 12 week one because LO is still teeny an even though their not huge at 20 weeks their alot easier to find than at 12 weeks if that makes sense

i was told to have a full bladder for both scans. if you are unsure go with a full bladder its always quicker to empty it than fill it back up lol

i was never told to have a full bladder for both scans i was just told not to go to the toilet just before the scan.

I've been told to have a comfortabe bladder, I always need to pee but find it easy to keep in lol.

I was told full bladder from both, remember even at 20 weeks your uterus is only just up to your belly button, so not very high!

I was told full bladder...but didn't really have one..just drank a little and they could see just fine!

yes you do...you need a full bladder at every scan because it pushes your uterus up and gives a clear picture

I was told at my 20 week scan to have a full bladder!

And then at my 24 week scan I didn't need to have a full bladder (thank God) But it could vary so be sure to call your doctor's office because you don't want to have to have a full bladder if you don't need one.
