Well my boyfriend's family just get on my nerves soo bad, The other day me and my boyfriend saw his nan and great nan up the town and when she talks to me she like talks just down to me she was just talking away then she looked at me and went "you are going to bring that baby round to see us" It just gets on my nerves cos my family have been arranging if they can come round my house (i still live with my mum) too see the baby, i know everyones family is different but bloody hell if you want too see someone you should come to them and see them not tell them too come too you? its probably where im used to being treated like an adult im not exactly immature and im going to have a baby of my own soon and i suppose if you act older you get treated older but in my boyfriends case its the TOTAL opposite his auntie will ring at the last minute and say "i need you too baby sit tonight" so he has walk to the otherside of town bearing in mind they drive to baby sit and once she rang up "i need you too babysit" so my poor boyfriend had to walk to the otherside of town in the snow for him to turn up she say "oh we dont need you actually" sorry but thats a p***take! Hes not even aload a door key and if we stay there no way are we aload in the house on our own we have to leave at like 7am cos their going to work!!
It jsut annoys me so much my family have done everything they can too support us and they see james as part of the family now, they dont see me as family when i went to his aunties wedding i werent aloud in "the family photo" even though i was pregnant with james' baby!
Honestly my family have much so much more of an effort all his mum has done has said she'll buy the car seat but she told us which one and it was the cheapest nastiest looking one going! so i told her not too bother and now she said she'll buy the babys wardrobe thing which i wish she didnt cos i wanna sort all the babys things out and get everything ready when i cant cos im not gonna wash and iron al lthe clothes then put them back in draws!! all she keeps saying is "i'll get it next month""no i cant get it that weekend" its £29 for god sake i'd rather just buy it so i can prepare for the baby being here

My FOB's nan doesnt even speak to me, I say hi and she'll just give me an evil smile and walk off or stand there and blank me :@

i know what you mean about not getting the support from that side though, ive pretty much gotten everything myself coz they didn't wanna know for months and months.

If his nan's think you're going be up to taking a baby round to theirs, they better remember what was like for them in their day!!!!!!!

I think 'inlaws' always seem to forget how difficult it can be.
