It's truly amazing how ignorant people can be.
My cousin got pregnant at 19 with a beautiful little girl. She and her boyfriend were able to make it work, and eventually got married. She then had a little boy 2 years later. Despite having jobs and living on their own, both managed to graduate from college on time. She just had her third baby, and is currently working on her master's. They are all stable and so happy together. And all along her "friends" told her she would fail as a mother! Ha!

Age really isn't a deciding factor- despite what these little ****heads are always saying. You all are so brave and strong, and are truly WONDERFUL mummies. I'm in awe of every single one of you.

Ok, I just wanted to say how much you have inspired me here. And it almost made me cry to read it, but thank you so much! I now feel better about my past. And, btw, I think you're a great mom, judging by your posts.

Way to go! Your story almost made me cry. Your baby is so sweet <3

Someone will always have SOMETHING to say no matter what the situation is. Screw 'em.

But aidan changed how I felt about that today. Some one had said to me 9 one of my so called friends) That I can't be a good mum because I am too young and he has ruined my life. I sat their crying because I thought she was my friend ( Which I have evry few of now) And suddenly I felt these little arms go around my next and hear uve oo ( Love you) His first proper word And I looked down at my little boys inncoent face and it clicked

I don't need her
I am a good mum
I'm not a slag
My son will grow into a decent young man
And he is the reason I am going to uni in september because he made me determined to make a life for him that he diserves

Any of my friends or anyone is this world have a problem to that. Go tell someone else because you wont bring me down anymore
xx
She sounds like a horrible person. Your doing amazing and you have this gorgeous little dude who will love you forever nd look after you when your old. Shallow minded people like that girl are not worthy of yours or aidans time.

I am seriously sitting here crying about your story. its amazing how he could see how you felt and he knew just what to say.

people are idiots, thats one thing you have to know. you're a great mom and nothing anyone can say will ever change that. your son adores you and he knows the truth, so do you! it doesnt matter what others think

what a complete bitch, she is meant to be ur friend and stand by you, good riddence to her, ur miles better off with out her, go to uni, make something of ur life and rub it in her face silly cow, sorry i dont mean to be rude but i hate it when ppl say young ones cant handle bein a mum, my friend had her first at 18 and her second at 20 and she is a fantasic mum, she is married to the father and yes times are tough but they are the best parents ever.

ur lil boy sounds like a star xx
