I can't play my Cello anymore :'( (pointless thread lol)

Yess this is an absolutely pointless thread lol but i'm sooo upset

I've been playing Cello all my life and i adore it <3 But now my bump is quite prominent, its impossible to get the scroll and top of the fingerboard of the cello flat against my neck and collar bone because there is a bump in the way (lol), so Cello keeps slipping forwards and i can't play properly! Also Because of the Carpal Tunnel in my hands, i keep dropping the bow

Awww Bless you. I know exactly how you feel, I was drummer in the drumline before I got pregnant but there's no way I can carry a drum as the harness would squish my bump. And music has been my entire life They should make instruments for pregnant women

I play Violin too so i guess i'll still be able to play SOMETHING lol but my Cello is definitely my first love!

Hahaha would be awesome if they did make instruments for pregnant women... the instrument would have a huge hole for bump

It is fun. I love it. I guess I'm lucky, in percussion there are standstill instruments that I can play so I can still do drumline, although the long practices are really getting to me haha I think my LO is going to be drummer like his/her mommy My bubs starts moving like crazy during practices! I actually play the violin too, but I always wanted to play the cello. It sounds so pretty. When did you start playing?

Yay for violin players! Wooo! (I'm a music major ^^ Violin is my thing.)
