Hun, if he loved you, there is NO WAY that he'd even consider saying something as utterly selfish as that. If he was worth staying with, he wouldn't mean it either. If you want to keep your baby, tell him. Call his bluff. If he leaves, he's a worthless git. If he stays, you know he was just scared.

But if you don't tell him soon and keep trying to convince yourself that he'll stay... When you hold your baby in your arms and tell him you're keeping her, and he walks out on you both... That'll be far worse than if he leaves now, surely?

Best of luck hun, really hope he doesn't leave!

And now he's saying he doesn't want to be with me even if i really did do adoption...what a pathetic excuse of a "man". And now I feel completely terrible

My boyfriend said the same, i shopped him, miserable git. I know how hard this is for you right now but this guy doesnt seem to realise that he has a child, you dont want to go the adoption route and hes said he wont stay anyway.Sounds to me like you and your baby are much better off without him, its scary now but it will be ok

It's absolutely terrifying to think about doing this without him... I hardly sleep or eat anymore because of him

What the heck!?

You and your little one are better off without him!!

It may seem scary now, but you CAN do it and some fab new guy will come along eventually and he'll want to be a proper daddy to your baby and a proper partner to you!!

This guy doesn't sound like he respects you at all and that's one thing that makes me really mad...a guy who's so self important he thinks he can hurt you and get away with it...It really sounds like he wants you to lay down, do as he says and not complain! What kind of partner does that?

I would suggest just walking away from him, leave him to have his little hissy fit and show him you are strong enough to do this without him!!

I told my fob the same thing pretty much, he was putting a lot of pressure on me, I think I did it to keep him around, even though I had no intention of adoption. In the end he didn't stay around though.
