New job, any nice maternity wear?

Just got a new job today! Working behind a bar, 30 hours a week will be going up to 40 hours in a few weeks.
Just quit my Macdonalds job (Thank god, two years there is far to much.)
However, when should I tell my new boss I'm pregnant? and 'cause I get to wear my own clothes does anyone know where I can get any nice maternity wear? Although I'm still size 10 atm, my jeans are getting tighter and I want to be prepared before I balloon.

I would wait until you are between 12-16 weeks if I was you but thats just me. That way you will most likely have a scan photo as proof and because you are quite a good way into your pregnancy at that point. Hope this helps, its just my opinion though xox

Btw, I haven't gone looking for Maternity wear cos I'm not pregnant but I heard other girls talk about New Look, H&M etc? Are you in UK? xox

ASOS is great in my opinion, but seriously, there is nothing wrong with some leggings and long tops and you can wear them after the birth too so it saves money lol

I live in leggings/jeggings and hardly got any maternity tops i just look for the baggier clothes in the shops, i guess i have been lucky with the fashions while ive been pregnant what on earth would i have done without leggings lol!! xx

like the others have said leggings and baggy/long tops will do you fine for the majority of it! i wasnt in maternity til 30+ weeks. as for telling your boss, i believe you dont legally have to tell them til 28 weeks.. but like charlotte said i'd advise somewhere in the 12-20 region, that way they can do a risk assessment and are likely to be more lenient if you need days off or get over tired or w/e...

Firstly Congratulations on getting the job
And im in the same situation haha! start a new job in 2 weeks! I've heard you dont legally have to say anything till 26 weeks however if you tell them between 12-20 weeks they can be a bit more linent with time off for scans etc and it gives them more time to find somebody else when your on maternity leave
Good luck hun!
