i want to go to uni and im thinking about open uni. couldnt you take a year out and then go to uni, by then the kid would be old enough to be able to be put into a nursery... There's nothing stopping you with going uni later on...

Test and find out for sure. As everyone else said. Then see how you feel about keeping the baby. If you still want to and feel your able then uni is still possibly. Maybe just a year later?

My dad didnt want me to have my boy (im 18 too) but he dealt with it and now loves him to bits! My mum took a week or 2 to come to terms but loves being a young granny!

Lots of people think they cant achieve their dreams with a kid, but thats not the case. After having the child its up to you to keep those dreams in site and make them possible. Good luck in whatever happens and whatever you choose xx

You can go to uni, i'm going to finish my law degree and i'm having my baby in October (i hope aahh) Uni's want you to go so they will do what ever they can to help you, there are normally places for babies to go in the uni (there is in mine) also my OH mum works in the uni so i have a feeling will be making trips to her when i'm in lectures ha ha ha!!
But yea i def think test first worry later, i know someone with 5 children who is doing my course and one is under a year old. You can do it you just have to work hard.

Hey, first of all, you definately need to test, don't put it of because you'll just get yourself more and more worried =]
I'm 18 and started uni in september last year. I found out I was pregnant in October but carried on and told my personal tutor. To be honest they were rubbish about it at first because they never said or did anything but I suppose that was just the university's fault. Anyway I went back to them and talked to them and they were very nice about it and helpful too. I explained that I wanted to take a year out and maybe come back to do a different course next year which is the only reason I'm not finishing, because they said if I'm going back to do a different course my previous course won't affect me so there was no point stressing over exams that won't get me anything. Then they said that if I do go back they have certain benefits your entitled to and that there was a creche on campus to help me out.
It's up to you though really, you may miss out on the last few important months because of giving birth and then looking after a new baby but I'm sure you could get plenty of help. Would your boyfriend be able to help you?
