Okay today I almost went arse over tit OVER MY DADS CRAP!
I woke up and as usual had to bend over to move the 2 heavy boxes keeping my door closed, walked down the stairs while struggling to not trip over the dog, said hello to dad and as I went to make dad and David a coffee tripped over some of his plastic wrapping which is scattered ALL OVER THE HALLWAYS!
everymorning he wraps his items and the hallways is covered in boxes, tapes, scissors and this time it had that plastic wrapping stuff that wraps around boxes, but this time it got wrapped around my feet!

This house is extremely unsafe and I want to maybe show the council so maybe we are higher chance of getting a house, I looked and we have about a 2 year wait, I dont think I can wait that long for a house, we have tiles broken and coming out of the kitchen floor, where the oven should be there is a car battery and a bin bag, the dining room has 10+ motorbikes in it, 9 out of 11 doors are broken, the electrics are f***ed, there is dog hair EVERYWHERE! apart from our room, car parts are scattered in every room in the house, espcially the kitchen everytime I try to dry up my washing dog hair gets covered on the plates! I have to get a clean sponge out everytime I wash up because dad keeps using them to wash the dog/car part!
He paints his car parts in the kitchen so there are spray cans all over the floor and paint fumes constantly lingering with no thought to open a window or anything!

This house is NOT safe for a baby, I seriously don't know what to do, I am petrified of bringing up a baby in these conditions, and to make it worse dad keeps making jokes like "ohh your just going to accidentlyu drown the baby" or "haha you lost your hat what happens when the babies born you going to leave it in tescos?"


I'm trying to think of some way of getting out of here we even asked Davids parents if we could live in 1 of their caravans (we cant because they are in a holiday park and its illegal ) I feel so useless

It could be worth ringing them. The worst that could happen is they say no.

Hmm I really dunno what to suggest. How old are you? Are you under 18? Maybe you could go talk to someone from the council and show them photos or invite them to come look at where you are living at the moment. It sounds really unsafe :/ I really dunno what else to say, I just wish I was more help xox

Gte your mum to write it out that shes kicking you out and give to council then they can have a wee bit of a warning and there less chance of you going into a hostel!
You'll be okay hun I'm sure you OH wont allow you to go homeless anyway

I am on the list but I never thought they would come round, Davids said they may see it and tell social services and they may just take Evie away when shes born?

as soon as she was about 2 get it i said im goin 2 put my fone on charge and walked up stairs
and kie was txtin me i was like ring me
and i was trying not 2 cry over it.. LOL HORMONES!

I'm so sorry its such an unsafe place to live especially with a L/O!!
I can't really help you since I'm from the states but I just had to comment on the "arse over tits" that made me giggle

tell ur dad straight hes gunna have to sort it out.. even start to help him abit.. like sorting a cupboard out for the spray paints ect. x
