Natural ways to help induce labour?

I'm desperate at this point! & I would like to know if anyone has any advice on how to help induce labour.
I'm about half a centimetre dialated. So I'm on my way. I've been having contractions the past few days. But they aren't strong enough and aren't regular enough to be real labour! So I wanted to help speed this up, since now that my body's getting prepared, the days are getting slower and more exciting.
I'm looking for some uncommon ways that will help. I know about walking, I've been doing tons of walking and eating tons of spicy foods! I've heard sex, and nipple stimulation help to! But nothing's really working!! So is there anything else that could help! That's natural please?

firstly congratulations!

Secondly- walking as the gravity helps baby on its way!
Spicey foods, raspberry leaf tea, pineapple and sex are all supposed to help. And bouncing on a birthing ball!!xxx good luck xxx

HOW FREAKING EXCITING! Sorry I just had to say it lol. I don't really have any advice, but I've heard good things about birthing balls/exercise balls. I'm so excited for you! :P

Thanks!!
Well I have raspberry green tea in my cupboard, not sure if that's the same thing, or works the same! I read somewhere that green tea is not good for you while pregnant!

They say Caster Oil is good for inducing labour, Although I'd call your MW/OB before taking it. Some people say it can be unhealthy.

Try doing a squat and then lightly bouncing on your toes. (Although make sure you have something to hold on to!) Some say this can kick start contractions because of the natural birthing position you're in. (which means that the birthing canal is more open than when laying on your back.)

Good luck!

Thanks I haven't tried squatting at all !
I don't think I'm gunna do the castor oil though, heard that since it's like a laxitive it could make your baby go to the washroom inside you and they'd breathe it into their lungs =O.

Yeah, that's what I heard to, but then some midwifes say that it's safe and what not. I personally wouldn't go for it. I had to take a spoon full once and it was the grossest thing you could imagine.

hey! not too sure where you're located, but you should try and go to your nearest italian restaurant and eat eggplant parmigiana. it induced both me and my brother and thousands of other babies in our area!

try it!

I drank LITRES of pineapple juice when I was 37 weeks and I didn't go into labour until about a week after the juice was done lol.

Walking and sex would probably be your best bets.

i wouldnt do caster oil that sounds dangerous although my nanna did say her sister did that with her two! lol. You need raspberry leaf tea, from holland and barrets, could you send someone out for some?? No idea how well any of them work. My friends sister was induced by chocolqate cake!
