Paranoia - Help

I've been getting mild cramps, and although people have told me it's nothing to worry about i'm still paranoid to hell about them. Not just them, but moving funny, i'm scared of bending the wrong way and hurting it... I know it's just silly paranoia but it's really stressing me out!

Did/does anyone else get like this?

Everyone is paranoid it's just knowing when to draw the line. You're not going to hurt your baby though it's in a big bubble of fluid.

for the first few months i still got period pain every now and then, just not as bad as normal, could it just be that? I would call your midwife/GP and ask them just to get checked over and reassure you that nothing is wrong and that you wont hurt it!

Don't be too worried, your mussels are moving around, which can cause pain/cramping. I went on a quad when I was in my 1st month of pregnancy (well I didn't know I was at the time) and the baby has been developing just fine. They are quite protected in that sack of fluid ^_^

it's perfectly normal to feel scared, but you don't want to stress too much. Don't want to stress out the little one. Everything can be scary, but just remember that everything is okay, it will be okay.

Have you found out you are pregnant by taking any tests yet? In your last thread you didn't know if you were pregnant or not.

Could your period like cramps perhaps signal that a period might be coming on for you?

Yes, have you tested yet? You need to know if there is an 'it' to hurt.

If there is an 'it' you can't hurt it by moving about, as it is little more than a cluster of cells (if you are still only about 3 weeks pregnant as previously calculated) and is surrounded by a liquid bubble which has a cushioning effect.

You really do need to test it's all very well thinking you might be but I think it's best to make sure.

Also maybe it would be best to wait till you are late before posting as though you know you are - otherwise if you aren't pregnant and get your period you will be very disappointed.
