my mum said if she could have it her way she'd drag me to the place to get an abortion, but she also said its my decision and that when she was my age she was like me like been with her boyfriend for months and thought she was in love and would have kept the baby, when i told ehr i was keeping it she was okay about it, now shes totally used to it so its great ..i werent speaking too my dad at the time but since ive made up with him and seen him hes fine and really excited, my boyfriends family were okay his dad needs too grow up and starting going mad about it which led to a few nasty phone calls to him from my mum haha! everyones fine now apart from boyfriends dad he blow hot and cold which is fine with me cos he can pee off when the bubbas here!
All mums will find it hard to come round cos its like there little angel having a baby but im sure after a while she'l lcome round and be excited about being a grannie

I was 16 when I was pregnant with my first. My mum and dad were upset. At the time I didnt realise why they were so affected BUT now I amolder I realise. It wasnt just my life that was going to change but theres too, the whole family had to change as I ws going to be living at my mums with a baby.My sister had to move into the small room etc,its only now I realise how grateful I am for them.

After the inital shock they were very supportive x

I was 18 when I found out I was pregnant.

My mom was okay from the start and very supportive. She is the best grandma ever!!

My dad was not. He told me he'd be supportive but he was a dick to me the entire pregnancy telling me I wasn't ready and was immature and was ruining my life, tried to convince me to terminate. Now he is great with the baby but still a douche to me.

I think I'm quite lucky in the sense that if I ever got pregnant I know that my mum would be overjoyed. She can't wait to be a Nannie! She knows I'm mature for my age (I'm 20 in a couple weeks) and although I would struggle, I would make it through and I'd always have her to help me. I haven't spoken to my dad in 16 months and don't plan on doing so again to be honest. Part of me wonders "Will he call when he hears the news?" but deep down I know that I will never hear from him again.

I'm 19.. My mum was ok with it.. A bit disappointed I think at first but she came round and didn't take long.. Now she's more excited than me I think lol.. Same with my dad.. Took him a little longer to come round but he said that's only because I'm his only child and a girl so no matter what age it happened he was never going to take kindly to it.. But like I said his brill now.

My family were pretty good overall.. And they've been really supportive.. Even though they weren't jumping over the moon when I first told them lol

xxx
