Please, babe, consider what your baby will need to go through in their life-time with this name - passport applications, doctors appointments, school, so many hundreds of tiny ridiculous things like applying for a membership card at tesco or at the gym.

Every single name you've listed up there, while lovely, will require your baby to spell their name out at least once, if not twice or three times (sorry love, I didn't quite get that, what did you say?) which, let me assure you, is a PAIN IN THE BEHIND.

The best start in life you can give your baby, is to give them a NORMAL name, with a NORMAL or standard spelling. Take it from someone who has gone through her whole life so far with a 'non-standard' name. It was perfectly traditional when my mum picked it for me in another country, but it certainly doesn't work over here, despite being only one letter different to 'normal' spellings.

If you give a damn about your baby's future you won't subject them to a ridiculous name with a difficult spelling, unlike most of the horrible little skanks out there seem to do these days. Trust me, it's difficult enough being a degree-educated, intelligent human-being, trying to get a break in this world while having a name which doesn't fit with how most people want to spell things - you really don't need the extra obstacles of people having to ask you to spell your names four times over. Because they will.

Please, please, please, think before you lumber your baby with this. Take it from someone who knows and grew up with all this nonsense. Traditional spellings make for a MUCH easier life.

SO TRUE. my surname is Wrigley-Howe and the amount of times you spell it out really does wear you down! it sounds like a silly little thing if you've not had your whole life with a stupid name yourself but its so true.
plus where i live people drop the H off the start of words so they think i'm saying Hannah when i say Anna
its so draining i dont even wait for them to ask me to spell it anymore, i just say Wrigley-Howe, W-R-I-G....

and still 9 times out of 10 people manage to get it wrong!

To be fair thats a bit harsh...i think its quite a nice name....its easy to pronounce and quite pretty.....its up to her what she names her child. My names Kristina with a K, which NOONE ever seems to rememebr but i love that its a little bit different.
i dnno its just up to her and i dont think its very fair to have a go at her for her choice when its not rlly that ridiculous xxx

I agree
I usually prefer names spelled with a K instead of C.. It just looks "Kooler" (Ok it REALLY doesn't work for cool though)
