Hmm well here in Canada, there are alot of homes + programs for young, teen mothers. Like there's a program where they set you up with an apartment, and give you money for food, but you have to live there until you're 18 + after 2 years they give you 5000$ worth of free furniture. It all depends on where you live.

Whether your mum isn't going to support you or help you, there is stuff you can do.

As mentioned, go to the council and explain you are pregnant and you will be made homeless by your mother. They will talk to your mother, so if she doesn't want you at home with a baby, she'd better agree to talk to them.

I believe your boyfriend can apply for you, but if you give birth after you turn 16 there isn't a problem.

You might not beable to claim your sure start maternity grant until you're over 16 either BUT you can apply for this up until after 3 months after the baby has been born.

One issue that needs bringing up is that your bf may be at risk with the law, if you're underaged! I don't want to panic you, I know he hasn't forced you to have sex with him, but it is something that will be brought up.

Congrats though Hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy. And good luck with finances etc

In Uk law, sex with a girl under 16 is illegal and consent is completely irrelevant - you might want to go to the citizens advice bureau before telling the social who the father is. They can't pass the information on, but the social can.

Dont want to scare you, but you need to know where he stands.
