| im no expert but im sure one of you would have to carry the "dwarf" gene for that to happen, so im guessing what they ment to say was the child would be short? But alot of children out grow both there mother and there father so nothing to worry about really hun | | | | Status: Offline

| LOL! no!
me and FOB are both short, plus his WHOLE family, and my whole family too.
i may be wrong but im pretty certain a classified dwarf is under 5ft at 18+ which is unlikely to happen cos i think the baby normally ends up a bit taller than the parents.. like im 2 inches taller than my mum etc
its nothing to worry about xx | | | | Status: Offline

| Don't worry, dwarfism is genetic, so you or the father would actually have to carry the gene, in which case you would also be a dwarf, or the baby would have to have a mutated gene, which would be just as likely to occur if you were both 6ft tall! You're not at any more risk than any other person just because you're shorter than average... | | | | Status: Online

| i really dont think your height has anything to do with how the baby will be tbh.
my baby was big.. im short.
my family are ALL taller than me, my 7 year old sister comes to my shoulder.. my mum and dad are both 5'11ish and im 5.3 my brother is roughly 6" and 18m younger than me.
genetics do play a part in it but doesnt mean the baby wont be tall. My boyfriends 6" and his mum's about 5'1 and dad about 5'4

| Lmao, you'll be fine- that can't be true.
At least you don't have to worry about pushing out a big baby, my OH is 6'3" and was the heaviest baby at the hospital setting a record at 10 pound 4oz.

| dwarfism is completely different to being a 'midget'....don't think the term 'midget' is actually used anymore....but if you're just worried about it's height, then don't be...i'm only 5ft1 and my baby is the length of from my shoulders to pelvis already! | | | | Status: Offline
