Blimey girl what do you parents think - did they know you were 'trying'?
At 15 not even left school I find it very hard to say congratulations. I know theres many teen Mums most taken by surprise but I am shocked to say the least that a 15 year old (poss 14 depending on your DOB) started to actively try & want a baby! You had your whole life infront of you.
Clearly your happy! I hope babies arrival proves to be what you think it is.

I have to agree with your post. I am having a hard time comprehending why at that age some are trying to ttc. I'm trying so hard to be happy for them but I just can't comprehend it.
No offense, please, but I often think that some who try to have a baby at that young in their life are missing a certain affection, love, etc. from their parents, family and friends.
Please help me to understand. God forbid, if my daughter tried at that age I would be devastated!
I would have to agree with Wobbles above, i really do hope everything goes well for you during your pregnancy but surely it would have been wiser perhaps to wait until you finished school before you start a family.
anyhow, you will get a lot of support and advice from everyone on this site, they definitely have helped me with any concerns or worries i've had so dont be afraid to ask
xx
I don't judge teen parents either infact I've always pushed the 'supportive' issue but after it was brought to my attention like you (and others) found it hard to get my head round.
I think a girl/couple who have left school and decide this is their route is fair play afterall its their lives but before leaving school age has me a tad shocked.
Just told someone else this - My lil girl has 2 options:
Uni - Car & extra allowances from us (even if its to enjoy herself)
Baby - Then she needs to go out support herself depending on situation depends how much physical support I would give her afterall we all know how accidents happen ...
I've watched a few Maury and Oprah shows where young teens at this age so want a baby. So what they have done it made these young ladies take care of a baby for a day. In each session, every one of those girls decided after that they didn't want a baby. Having a child can be tough, even at our age.
Sorry, gals, not meaning to be negative but, like I said, I have a hard time comprehending it.
